デブサミ 2 日目 (Developer Summit 2nd day)
デブサミ 2 日目が終わりました。1 日目より少し少なめだったかな ? わたし、1 日目に張り切りすぎて、2 日目はまったく声が出なくなってしまいました。やっぱりしゃべりすぎなんだよねー... と反省して、ひたすら笑顔で応対 (のみ)。でも、翻訳ツールの話になるとつい出て行ってしまい... 「声が出ないので、すみませんが近くに来てください」などと身振りで頼み、ヒソヒソ話でデモ＆説明。聞いてくださった方は、わたしのしゃがれ声に驚いていらっしゃいました。すみませんでした。
ブースに来てくださった方は、OpenSolaris はご存知でも、ほとんどの方はポータルを知らないということでした。もっと知ってもらって、おもしろいものにしなくては! と決意を新たにしました。
個人的にとても嬉しかったこと。わたしのことを、まっすぐ見て「ブログ読んでいます。楽しみにしています。」って言ってくださった方がいらしたのー！涙出そうに嬉しかった。ありがとうございます。もっと更新しますからね。

Developer Summit 2nd day is over. The attendees are little less than the 1st day, I guess ? I must have talked too much and too loud on the 1st day, and my voice has gone on 2nd day. I know I know, I should shut my mouth and listen to them instead of talking. So, 2nd day, I was smiling, nodding, and bowing (only)... but when the topic is about Translation tools, like memory or glossary, I could not stop coming to the guests. I asked them to come closer to me by gesture, and whispered them how to use Translation Memory tools. I'm sorry they looked so surprised by my voice.
I realized most of them know OpenSolaris, but not OpenSolaris portal, and made up my mind to put more focus and energy to increase the visibility of JA portal.
Personally, I was delighted to meet the persons who looked me in the eyes and told me "I am enjoying your blog. Looking forward to the updates." What a encouragement! I promised in my mind to update more. Thank you very much.
