Consider you audience always. If you create presentation slides consider the following: PLEASE do not put paragraphs of text on your lecture slides!!!! If you want your audience to read something, just send an email and spare them the interruption of attending your meeting. WHY do you insist on putting full sentences on your slides??? Do you want your audience to listen to you, or do you want them read what you are projecting on the screen? Bulletted phrases or key words are all you need. GRAPHICS. Oh yeah. Distract them with arbitrary clipart. That'll make 'em hear what you have to say. ... NOT!! Please use only relevant graphics. RIDDLE. A riddle is your best slide. It hooks your audience. Project something compelling so they listen to you to figure out what you are saying. Trick them into listening to your message.
