A is for Apple, G is for Gmail
|
One of the BoingBoing links for April 2003, came from the w00t group blog, and pointed to a blog entry for "The Internet ABC's". |
Using my auto-generated bookmarking software (which you can easily download), I thought it would be interesting to see what had changed in the last 2 1/2 years.
Here's what it was as of last Friday (as searched on Google):
- A is for www.apple.com
- B is for www.btselem.org
- C is for www.c-span.org
- D is for www.dlink.com
- E is for www.eonline.com
- F is for www.f-secure.com
- G is for gmail.google.com
- H is for www.h-net.org
- I is for www.itools.com
- J is for www.jenniferlopez.com/
- K is for www.kde.org
- L is for www.coe.int
- M is for www.tamu.edu
- N is for www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/bluewebn
- O is for www.oreilly.com
- P is for www.pflag.org
- Q is for www.q4music.com
- R is for www.r-project.org
- S is for www.mcdonalds.com
- T is for www.t-mobile.com
- U is for www.umn.edu
- V is for www.vday.org
- W is for www.whitehouse.gov
- X is for www.x.org
- Y is for messenger.yahoo.com
- Z is for www.zmag.org
Hmm. If I believed in conspiracy theories, I'd say there was some good fodder here. Especially as I went over to Ask Jeeves and checked out what the top hit for a search for "G" returned there.
