Another New Tagcloud
|
It's been five months since I generated my tagcloud, so I've remedied that. I've also updated the script that generated it (based on my Technorati tags). There is also a persistent link to the tag cloud at the bottom of the rightmost column in my blog. |
If you click on one of the links in the tagcloud, it's bring up a popup of all the links with that tag. If anybody knows of some nicer code (JavaScript, DHTML, whatever) to do this, just point me in the right direction. It's a little klunky at the moment. Especially at the edges of the window or where you have a generated popup that's larger than the screen and you have to use the arrow keys to navigate it.
I wish it was all automatic, but the Roller blogging infrastructure doesn't seem to have that kind of support (although several people are using Technorati tags). Maybe it's coming. Sure would be nice if all the Sun bloggers could use the same tagging system.
In saving away the new tagcloud, I noticed that we are allowed up to 250 Mbs for our "resource" files now (images, source code, tagclouds). It was 80 Mbs when I started blogging here in May 2004. No continually updating new allocated space total like with my Gmail account, but it's nice to know I'm not going to be running out of storage space soon.
