Christmas Break 2006
|
This is probably the last blog post of the year. Sun shuts down here in the U.S. next week, so I'll be back at work on 2nd January 2007. |
Lynea and I wrapped all the Christmas presents yesterday. It's nice to have that over and done with early. It's usually something that gets done late on Christmas Eve, which leaves you totally exhausted by Christmas morning, especially as Duncan wants you to get up extra early that day to see what presents Santa has bought him. You know. The ones you'd just wrapped the previous night.
Grandma is coming to stay this year, so that'll be a change. The two cats (who mostly live upstairs because the dog is downstairs), will have an opportunity to share some body heat during the night.
But mostly I'll be taking it easy. Having a little blogging break. I've got a couple fun programming projects that I'm working on in my spare time, which I hope to share next year, but mostly it'll be down time. Reading a good book (or six) and catching up on my sleep.
Happy Christmas Holidays everyone!

I think this Christmas the Penny Will Finally Drop though. He's having some serious issues with Santa at the moment. Lots of kids in his class at school have older siblings.
Then we can just put all the presents right under the tree without having to hide them away until the magically appear on Christmas morning.
