Dustin Carr, the guy who made the nanoguitar as a Cornell grad student, moved to New Mexico after he got his PhD to work at Sandia National Laboratories. He was making other cool nanomachines, so I went out to do a story for the newspaper. But the real reason I went was as an excuse to get a picture of the nanoguitar in the paper, because it is such an insanely cool little gizmo.
