GreaseMonkey Script Just Works With Makezine and Craftzine As Well
|
Sometimes I just scare myself. The GreaseMonkey script I created yesterday that acts like a category viewer for the Hackszine website, also just works with Makezine and Craftzine as well. |
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. All three sites are affliated. It's probably the same person (or team), that designed all three.
Note that you will need to reinstall the script (there's now two new @include lines in the header), or right click on the monkey icon on the right hand side of the Firefox status bar, and select "Manage User Scripts..." Then click on the "Hackzine Posts List" entry, and then click on the "Add..." button to the right of the "Included Pages" area and add in the following two new entries:
http://makezine.com/blog/ http://craftzine.com/blog/
and then click on the "OK" button.
Now when you reload either of the two new sites above, it'll start rebuilding the page and displaying all the posts under all the categories.
There have been a lot of posts to the Makezine site. Expect it to take quite a while to rebuild that page. After five minutes, I saved the HTML file it had generated and it was over 2.75MB.
If I get enthused, I'll see if there is an easy way to eliminate duplicates (i.e. posts that have been filed under multiple categories), but for now, that's it. If I do another one of these, it'll be for the LifeHacker website.
