Monday February 27, 2006 Return to Work

We arrived back home on Saturday after six days in Southern California. Apart from being totally exhausted, it was a near perfect vacation. It had rained in the Bay Area just before we left and started up again yesterday, but while we were away it was mostly sunny and warm. |
We drove down to San Diego on Presidents Day (9 hours) and we came back from Carlsbad on Saturday (7-1/2 hours). For the four days in between we ended up doing San Diego Zoo and Sea World and Birch Aquarium at Scripps and Lego Land. More on those in future separate posts when I have some spare time.
For now I'm wading through my email and fully appreciating what people mean when they say that they are glad to be back at work so that they can rest up.
