Science Toys

This was one of those webs sites that I discovered when I went through the BoingBoing archives a little while ago, and thought that it was much more than just the link to the single project that they were featuring that day. This whole site is fascinating.

Put together by Simon Quellen Field, author of Gonzo's Gizmo's, it's a site where you can make science toys at home with your kids using common household materials, often in only a few minutes, that demonstrate fascinating scientific principles.

Topic areas are:

Lots of fun projects here, so why don't you go home tonight and do some science with your kids, assuming you have kids. Maybe a plastic hydrogen bomb, a radio out of household items or a film can cannon
