Thaw Before Use

We were all talking turkey as we were preparing the Thanksgiving meal last Thursday. My brother-in-law was telling us about some of the weirdest calls that Butterball had had on their turkey hotline.

This was followed by a recent news story where a large frozen turkey was used to break into a car to rescue the people inside.

This reminded me of something that I first saw on a jokes alias about 10-15 years ago and I've now found again on the web.

It looks to have all the makings of yet another urban legend.

Mythbusters did an episode (season one, ep. 9) about whether a frozen chicken would go through an airplane windshield faster than a thawed chicken. Those guys have too much fun.
