I love interesting informatative comments to my blog posts. I also appreciate it when somebody goes out of their way to do something for me. Here are a couple of examples I found in my mailbox today. |
Back in July last year, I wrote about the city of Darwin in Northern Australia. I wanted to include a good picture of the local beer bottles called a Darwin Stubbie. Cally, one of my readers from Down Under has kindly sent me one which I've included in my blog resources (thankyou). I've also gone back and updated the original post.
Note that this is a 2 litre beer bottle that's sold in pubs, in a similar way to the "puny" little beer bottles they have here in the U.S. It certainly saves you having to do multiple trips to the bar for refills.
The other nice thing resulted from a Gathering for Gardner post I did on my birthday in May this year. From that, I've been invited to the next Gathering for Gardner conference. That's a really nice belated birthday present (thankyou too).
