well, after a very full and rewarding forty-five days, sarah (and huang'er) finished moving out of the apartment last night. we went from a height of two people and four dogs when i first moved in to just leo and me.

the good thing is that sarah found a place in the same wing of the complex. she has decided to stay in beijing after all, with only a brief visit back to the states. it is really amazing how this has worked out.

Hi Rob,

It seems that you are having fun with your dog in Beijing. I am planning to visit Beijing and stay there for about 2- 3 months with my dog at end of Aug or early Sept, I wonder if I can ask you how you brought your dog to Beijing, or you got the dog in China. It seems that there is a 30 days Quarantine even with USDA's health certification and with all the updated shots. I heard there are some agencies in Beijing, they will help with the custom procedure and waive the 30 day quarantine if you pay them a fee. Do you have any recommendations about bring dog to Beijing? Do you happen to know some agencies? I live in SF bay area in CA, I wonder if you would mind me calling you, or chat on Yahoo or skype. I am very eager to find out a solution to bring my dog with me. Thank you very much for your help, I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Rob, I just sent you an email earlier, I keep on reading your blog, found out that you are from Sunnyvale, Wow, I live in Redwood City, such a small world, you work for Sun? I used to have a long time friend who works at Sun in Beijing, haven't contact him for about two years, not sure if he still works there. Leo is so cute, it seems Leo was on the airplane with you, how lucky? So Leo went through the 30 day quarantine? My dog has been traveling with me in Canada and Europe. I can't imagine not having my dog with me or having a 30 days quarantine? How is the quarantine conditon in Beijing? I am sorry to bother you again, hope to hear from you soon.
