SCERI Talks: Jim Mauro and Alex Noordegraaf
One of the very cool things about working at the Sun China Engineering and Research Institute (SCERI) during this Olympic period has been the very talented Sun people who have come into town either to work on the Olympics or to see them.
Two people who fall into the former camp are Jim Mauro and Alex Noordegraaf, who are here working on the sizable installation of Sun hardware located near the Bird's Nest.
For those unfamiliar with Jim, he is the co-author of "Solaris Internals" and "Solaris Performance and Tools: DTrace and MDB Techniques for Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris". His bio is here:

They spoke about Sun's involvement in this year's Games, as well as at previous. Alex also shared many of the pictures he took at the complex. As an added benefit, both Jim and Alex stayed around afterward to discuss projects and also for Jim to sign books.
