I am missing my family.

When I used to go to work every morning.. and when my daughter did not wanna have her breakfast.. she usually quipped... "I WANNA MA DADA NAW".. Likewise I scream today "I WANNA MA FAA-MEE-LEE NAAAAW"

I'm miss having them around.. the stress of having a family is worth every bit..

Have your history teacher explain this to you if he/she could !! Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost a child while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head. Now it gets really weird. Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln. Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Now hang on to your seat ! Lincoln was shot at the theatre named "Ford." Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln" made by "Ford." Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. And here's the "kicker": A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe,Maryland. A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe. Lincoln was shot in a theatre and the assassin ran to a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theatre. Creepy, huh?

After reading the multitudes of posts on the web titles "Google reaches out to open source community" I wonder if this is all another wild OpenSourcedreamworld in the making. Microsoft seems to have way more OpenSource code released than Google. Are they playing the corporate game of make-believe... Well only time will tell. I do not want to sit on my butt and pass judgement on whether Google is doing the right thing or not, NOR do I wanna pass judgement on their motives behing this marketing propoganda of them going OpenSource.. guess ONLY time will tell. So you too could discover Google's OpenSource offering by visiting code.google.com. However, The one project on code.google.com I really liked was the integration of Craigslist with Google Maps created by Paul Radmacher. His work can be viewed at A combination of Craigslist and Google Maps. Guess it's time for Craig Newmark & Paul Radmacher to team up and start their own new startup !!

I almost cracked up seeing this. I always believed that those motivational pictures, awards, gifts from things remembered or any of those employee retention marketeers were just great until I stumbled on these. These Inspirational DeMotivators actually motivated me... sometimes a simple smile can make one go a long way.... Go Directly to the Inspirational DeMotivators Site at despair.com.

The one person I would like to meet in person sometime before I myself go six feet under is Kevin Mitnick. You may ask why ?? well, everybody has an idol. I have mine. Do I need to explain why ? I have my reasons... Having already spent four years in federal prison without a trial, without bail and for eight months in 23-hour-a-day solitary confinement, Kevin reached a plea agreement with the government. He was released from custody into supervised release in early 2000. In January 2003, Kevin was freed from those restrictions. Giving testimony before Congress, Kevin once said, "I have gained unauthorized access to computer systems at some of the largest corporations on the planet, and have successfully penetrated some of the most resilient computer systems ever developed. I have used both technical and non-technical means to obtain the source code to various operating systems and telecommunications devices to study their vulnerabilities and inner workings." In person, Kevin is completely forthright about the nature of his wrongdoings, but stresses in his own defense that he never used anything he obtained to gain monetary advantage. "All of this activity was to satisfy my curiosity; to see what I could do; and to find out secret information about operating systems, cell phones, and anything else that stirred my curiosity." That my friends is NOT what the world has made him out to be... but HE IS WHO HE IS. He is Kevin Mitnick and I admire the person for who HE is. Maybe someday I will...

In a desperate search for wheels, especially after selling my loaded JEEP Grand Cherokee ltd, and my Hyundai in California for throw away prices, I had been back on the wheel hunt again. unlike any other wheel hunt that I have previously been on, I was surprised to find out that a Canadian car buying experience could be a challenging one. Here's what I learnt.
  1. Canadian's pay extremely high taxes on any purchase
  2. Canadian's prefer buying/selling through a dealer (guess they get a tax break/refund...somthing I gotto learn more about)
  3. http://toronto.craigslist.org is not a high-flier with the Canadian's
  4. Canadian Car Salesmen are nice... very unlike their US counterparts
  5. Canadian vehicle safety standards are way higher than the US
  6. Canadian car's are way more expensive
  7. One cannot buy a car in the US, drive ir across the border and register it in Canada (not all, but a few select manufacturers/models from the US are non transferable)
  8. Canada realy IS COLD.. I fear the winter... I'm frozen down to my privates in Spring itself
So anyway.. After a headstand, a shock (after hearing the pricetags and taxes) I settled down for a Mercedez-C240. It did pinch my wallet, but was worth the search as I not have a loaded merc. I bet that my wife would total it soon as she intends to learn driving on it... (I could not convince her to learn in a beatup car). So.. with all due respects to her intentions, I believe that I may need to tradein/upgrade my C240 for a E/S 500/600 on that pretext. Neat.. I've got an alibi for an upgrade.... I hope to get her to concur with the decision on ... well probably my birthday when she cant say "NO"... sneaky.. aint I ??

God !!! when will the world stop believing that I am NOT willing to assist in transfering $25000000 for a 10% commision.

Just cannot believe that there still exist folks who fall prey to this...

WOW!!. I remembered shopping around 3 years ago for a sign to put up in my yard to remind people to pickup after their pets. Well, I always carry a scoopbag while I walked my dogs, and expect others to do soo too. It's just not a nice thing for people to let their dogs poop on your lawns. However when i bought the signboard from walmart, I paid (if I remember this right) around 25$ for it. ...almost a year later, I had a picture of my daughter taken in Sacramento by this signboard wgich was just her height and thinking about it now.. I believe would have made a very cute signboard. What do you think ? Well, I think the picture is just too cute and after seening this pictrue afgain i just thought that it would be a good picture to post up here...
