Good News, at least for Me...

I am very excited about several news which I would like to share with you:

1. I will go to Java One. The decision came yesterday and it's a big surprise for me, because it's very rare for anyone from Prague's QA to go to Java One. I will be there mainly for the NetBeans day, but will spend a day or two on the rest of the conference. I will be glad to meet any of you guys, who respond on my blog, who got in contact with me through mailling lists - or anybody else for a friendly chat and exchange of thoughts. You know what my interests are from the blog - look me up, I still look similar as on the photo, only I will have a terrible jet lag :-) Most probably I'll be lurking around the NetBeans stands. It's the first time that I will go to US and so I hope to be able to look around a bit. In case you'll miss the NetBeans day, look forward to my comprehensive reports from the happening.

2. Thanks to all the feedback to my last flash demo from you I got into contact with several important people at Sun and guess what - I'll do more flash demos! I am going to create a presentation of NetBeans for one of the known websites for java developers. I'll also prepare some very cool demos for Java One, it will take some time & effort, but I am already looking forward for the result. The demos will show the very new features which will come with 4.2 - these will make a difference in my opinion. So look forward to them.

Anyway, hope to see you at Java One! What, you're not going there? C'mon, the rest of the java world will be there and you'll stay home?
