NetBeans IDE 5.5 Preview Blog Carnival

NetBeans IDE 5.5 preview with Enterprise Pack brings Java EE development for human beings. Although I am a long time fan of scripting languages for web development, I started to look seriously into EE 5 recently. When I worked on my first J2EE project in 2002 it was a 100% failure. In 2004 I tried it again and it was half a failure (I failed with EJBs but Struts worked really nicely). In 2006 I am able to create an application with JSF and EJBs, deploy it and run it succesfully. Have my skills improved? Not really, they got worse, because I forgot all the details, Java EE just got easier to use and the tools got much better, too.

This entry will contain links to posts of other people about NetBeans IDE 5.5 preview and interesting information about Java EE 5. Let the carnival begin!

It is not only J EE 5 but UML support on NetBeans 5.0 java projects basis - check it out - it is really cool ;-)

Lukas doesn't ask ;) Lukas answers...
I answered to the question in the title ;) Should I remove the question mark to make it obvious?
