NetBeans Ported to SWT

NetBeans team used the preview version of project Jackpot to convert the whole NetBeans source code from Swing into SWT. I think this is a very interesting demonstration of the power of this technology. While I don't see much added value in this conversion (I always preferred the Swing UI - but this may be a personal bias) I think this is great news for people who prefer SWT. Now they can enjoy their favorite widgets even in the NetBeans IDE - perhaps this will give all SWT lovers a reason why to take a look at NetBeans.

:) Honestly, you had me for a minute or two. I actually flipped open email to start bumping the URL. ;) Too bad it's not true. Maybe MyEclipse can facilitate it at some point. - Don
