New demo: NetBeans & MySQL

I recorded a new screencast which show some of the features that are available in NetBeans to work with databases both for desktop applications and web services. The demo focuses on MySQL since the acquisition of MySQL AB by Sun has just been completed :)

Comments:

Great demo.

Could you also lobby for a more liberal license on the MySQL drivers?

The GPL license is a limitation for anyone who wants to build on MySQL and still be closed source. LGPL or CDDL perhaps?

Hello Roumen,

I'm always blown away by the speed of your demos. ;-)

Keep up the good work! :-)

Best regards,
Klaus

Superb Roumen

This is just what I needed - a multiple table MySQL example for this dumb old scot....

Thanks a lot

Kindest Regards

Jim

ps - The iReports plugin is amazing - NetBeans is (for me)a complete Business Development Solution

@Markus: Sun has been working in past several years on simplifying licensing terms for users. Hopefully this effort can also fix possible problems with MySQL.
