Sun Java & Tools Available in Ubuntu

Sun's JDK 6, NetBeans 5.5, Glassfish v1 and Java DB 10.2 are available in Ubuntu 7.04. Developers can get all these packages easily from the multiverse by using apt-get. It is great to see that the partnership between Sun and Canonical is bringing its fruits. More coverage on linuxplanet.com or on Ed Burnette's blog.

It is nice to hear that Java and NetBeans cope better with Linux world. Sun does great things but it can not promote those things properly. In last months, it is getting better in this direction.
