Silicon Valley: the state of mind
Sometimes when I have a question I go to Google, sometimes directly to wikipedia, but
sometimes the answer is on
YouTube^H^H^H^H^H^H^H dailymotion.com. So for all of you who have ever asked me what
life in Silicon Valley is all about here you go (and if you're curious what all the ^H are all about dive into comments):
The video is awesome and authentic but what followed is even more so: http://blog.wired.com/underwire/2007/12/copyright-claim.html
In short, the video was taken down because of a copyright claim. Good metaphor for the oh-so-familiar Valley-"old media" tensions.

Simply amazing! Thanks for sharing the story. It reminded
me greatly of a paper called "Sequential innovation, patents and imitation" (http://www.researchoninnovation.org/patent.pdf) by 2007 Nobel laureate Eric S. Maskin. That plus it made me fix the link and realize that YouTube does have a competition ;-)
