Sampat Patnaik CA: Winning isnt everything but the will to win is everything...

The session was really amazing... I had actually planned for a demo on the SPARC systems... But as we had only 15 systems we had to conduct the lab session in different phases... So we decided to have it at a later time... Hence we had a beautiful session on SUN technologies... I talked for around 1:30 hrs and then had a Speak ur mind session in order to know the mindset of the students... The best part of the session was this quote:

" When open source gives you the sky, why do you need doors or WINDOWS "

This brought out the whole essence of OPEN SOURCE to life... When I could display many bugs in Windows XP, the students were re-energised and students were now more serious and more attentive to what I was saying... Then I talked about Solaris, Java , Open Office... And I never knew when time flew by...

Everything was fine... I have planned for a class on Operating Systems next week.... Lets see what happens... Cheers :D
