Kelly O'Hair, Sun, has produced an article detailing the transition from JVMPI to JVMTI - The Java Virtual Machine Tool Interface. JVMTI is part of Java Specification Request 163 (JSR-163) of the Java Community Process (JCP). You will need Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 Beta 2
