I have been looking for a tools that will allow for WYSIWYG blog creation.
I'm not exactly a HTML writing kind of guy and you can see that several of
my pictures are hit and miss. Just dropping in photos will be nice.
I'm hoping that after publishing the first entry with the tool that it
might pull down my previous entries so I can review them and have a
history file.
More later.

I have seen the ads in RunnersWorld Magazine and read the reviews and it
looks like a lot of fun, so I did it. I know I'm getting old when my
biggest concerns about the race are the logistics of the event. It is in
Virginia Beach (nice and flat) on Labor Day weekend. The race is also
20,000 runners. Now, that is a lot of folks.
I'm totally counting on my brother living in Va Beach to be a nicer (and
cheaper) alternative to the hotels with 3 night minimiums and maybe I
can twist his arm into running as well. If not, at least he can drive me
to the start area so I don't have to be part of the parking and traffic
hell that will preceed the race. The 13.1 miles will already be on my
mind and missing the start isn't exactly appealing.
As for the race, there are bands every mile of the race and lots of cool
sponsors so the after race bash should be nice as well. The scenery
should also be great.
I ran my hills yesterday after running 4 miles and wow did that wipe me
out. I could barely get out of bed today. Several cups of coffee later
and I'm deciding if I'll do a nice easy 5 miles this
afternoon/evening... Saving up for my long run on Friday evening or
early morning of 7-8 miles as I can't run on Saturday as my little guy
is having his 7th birthday... I don't want to be all red faced in the
pictures and there is always lots of scrambling before having a bunch of
6-7 year olds invade my house...
