Tuesday August 08, 2006 Did Your Hear What They Said About
... NetBeans in [insert country here]? No? Me neither, but it's about time we found out! You might know our Reviews page where we keep track of online and print magazines mentioning NetBeans. When I heard that the German Javamagazin will publish a whole series of articles about NetBeans in German, this reminded me, we still need to find a solution to keep track of foreign-language articles...
Well, netbeans.org has this language pop-up in the top right corner. Usually it contains a translation of the current page (if a community member took their time to translate it -- thanks to you for your work by the way!). For reviews, this does not make much sense: You don't really need translations of the abstract of a magazin article that often. But, why not re-use the existing language-menu feature and create a page of,for example, Reviews in German? I also remember one article about NetBeans in Spanish, I'll start with that and create a Spanish review page too. But there is room for many more, and often users ask whether we don't have resources in other languages. So -- If you know of books or reviews for NetBeans in any language, please drop me a line (where, when, who, what), and I'll add it to the list. Thanks!
