Monday November 20, 2006 First Quiz Winners Announced And Community News
Two people wrote to webmaster and asked about the quizes: Yes, the winners of the first three NetBeans quizes have been announced, they have been informed and the prizes will be sent this week.
I know a lot changed on the netbeans.org -- if you are looking for this kind of content (competitions), please have a look at the new community home. There is the news archive, mailing lists, and the event calendar (e.g. with NetBeans WorldTour news). Then at the bottom there is a section with netbeans wallpapers and logos -- and "Useful Links" for community members. Among other things it contains:
- Evangelist Presentations and Flash Demos
- Planet NetBeans -- Blogs by community members
- Competitions and Quizes<---
and some more... And yes, I know, the "articles and interviews" link doesn't point to any interviews yet, I'm working on that. :)
Speaking of the calendar: I added three items to the event calendar today. Roman is going to demo NetBeans at various Java enthusiats in Italy, Greece, and Belgium. So if you hang out in Europe near Sardinia, Athens, or Antwerp in November and December, why not stop by an say hello!
