Thanks for the Community. What Do I With it?

Pssst... We started updating the NetBeans Community Homepage... :-) Have a look and tell us what you think. Does it answer your questions, what kind of people make up the community, what do we all do, and how you join us? Do you find what you are looking for? :)

Hi Ruth,

This is really great work done by you people. Now, its easier for any sort of NetBeans user, whether new/old to get what they want straightaway.

The links are in order, one could just see what exactly they want.

There's only one issue, which I'm surprised I could found - "When I log-in, and click on other link on the community portal, it opens the web page, however it shows me logged out."

I think the session lives only on the page, where you get logged-in.

Still, this initiative is fantastic and will make our lives much easier.

Thanks,
Varun

Hi Varun, as a test, I logged on and then clicked "report a bug", and IssueZilla acted correctly and recognized me. Can you reproduce a situation where it does not work?
Seems the session is still there. Maybe the problem is that the box in the top right does not display the state correctly sometimes? I'll look into that, thanks for reporting.
