This is just plain funny.

Also, I'm heading to a midnight showing of Watchmen on Thursday/Friday. To say that I'm stoked about this movie would be a severe understatement, so I expect I'm setting myself up for a huge disappoinment. Still, I won't be dressing up to go to see the movie.

Comments:

Don't forget to clap and cheer loudly when the credits show people like 'Key Grip' and 'Lead Gaffer'.

Now *there's* a blast from the past :-) That was "Return of the Jedi", right? My 41 year old body is not really up for a midnight showing, but I'm totally looking forward to it.

I though that it was Star Trek III (released in '84). I recall a woman in an original series era Uhura outfit who was in line with a Romulan or Klingon.

(interesting - the spell checker highlights 'Romulan' and 'Uhura' as misspelled, but not 'Klingon').

In any case, I hope Watchmen was good. My 10-yr-old is asking about seeing it, but I kind of know the story AND it's R-rated, so I'll likely be waiting for Netflix or DVD.

That was the one where the guy dressed up as the ensign who got burned in engineering in WoK, right?

Man, that was a while ago. I can't believe that you have a 10 year old! Watchmen is definitely *not* for 10 year olds! I'd be reluctant to show it to someone under 18...
