Shinhyuk Park's blog: Sun HPC experiences

Here are some photos of KISTI's supercomputer phase 2, which is named "Tachyon."

Tachyon has been ranked 14th on TOP500 Nov. 2009, providing 307TFlops Rpeak.

The system is configured with 1600 Sun X6275 blades (3200 nodes) for computing nodes, and 1.7PB of scratch disks with Sun JBODs and Lustre.

We are proud of this project that is attracting the attention of the engineers both in Korea and out of Korea.
