Habitat for humanity
Do you know Habitat ? The Habitat for Humanity International, simply refered to Habitat for Humanity or Habitat, is a Non-Governmental, Non-Profitable Christian Organization which helps people to stand on their own feet by building and serving houses. The houses are built on volunteer's labor and donation as a whole and given to a family who suffers from the lack of house. The family participate in building the house they will live from the beginning and live until they can go along for themselves. The activity persue not only helping the poor but also the recovery of humanity.
It became very popular in these days because of Jimmy Carter, the former president of America. He devoted himself to Habitat after retirement from the president. Since he visited Korea in 2001 for JCWP2001 (Jimmy Cater Work Project 2001), it started at 1992 actually, the Habitat became also famous in Korea. Now the total number of houses which Habitat Korea has built is estimated to over 500 in domestic and over 400 in overseas.
Sun Korea team volunteered for the Habitat on 11, July (I forgot posting pictures in fact. I thought I did.. ;;;). There were almost 80 employees including intership student(SunStars) and we went to Daejeon and Paju devided into two teams. Here are some pictures of the moment in Daejeon. The System Engineering group team, about 17 in total, went to Daejeon together and did our best as we have done for our work :)

The future, the present and the past of SE joined together.
We listened to how the works would go.

Our jobs were building frames for walls and roofs of the house.
She is hammering. It may be her first experience, I think. :)

The total works we have done for just 1 day were very tiny as a whole. However, our hearts were full of delight and proudness. I hope to participate again next time.
