The Solaris Campus team invites everyone interested in learning about "What's New in Solaris 10 10/08 Update" to participate in a Second Life workshop moderated by the Collier Computing group (Sun-certified instructors) on October 10, 2008 at 9:30am PT/SLT.
Besides having an opportunity to discuss the new features with other Solaris users you will also have a chance to win prizes as you participate of a scavenger hunt about these new features, exploring the Sun in Second Life facilities.
Come have fun as you learn what's new in Solaris 10 10/08 Update.
When: October 10, 2008 at 9:30 am United States Pacific Time (Second Life Time/SLT).
Where: Solaris Campus in Second Life (search for Places > Sun Microsystems Pavillion > there will be signs and teleport pads)

How do you get access to Second Life? You can create an account for free at www.secondlife.com
Be sure to create your avatar, download the Second Life Client software and get ready to learn! You can find the Sun Microsystems campus by going to Search > Places > Sun Microsystems. Also, be sure to join the Sun Microsystems News group in Second Life to be an on-going part of the Sun community and learn more about what is happening with the Solaris Campus and other Sun immersive learning projects.
Other live events, including Solaris Office Hours by Sun employees who are Solaris experts, are viewable from the Solaris Campus in Second Life as well as via this Solaris Campus Google Calendar.
