An add that uses %xcc and a mulxhi? Wow, finally... Is there a place that gives details about the instructions in the RF processor (exact semantic, encoding, performance characteristics, etc)? I still haven't had time to look at the sparc64vii integer multiply-accumulate instructions.
Nice presentation, sorry for jumping to a collateral subject, but the slides already cover the interesting points on the main topic ;-)
