The day began at 7.30am , the earliest rise for a developer day. THe CEO meet at 7.30 am was attened by a few dozen CXO . But the surprise was at 9.15 when all the speakers were called to wear costumes of Astrix and Oblix. Even the Country Chief was on stage with a big fake mush and a helmet. The entire floor is set up like a village. pictures will say it best. My talk was Java SE 5 and Java SE 6 , had to cover it in 40 minutes, couldnt help , had to breez throught the slides. The pics of the speakers will be poster at the end of the day. The entrance at the hotel Inside the vendor area Waiting for my next EJB 3 session at about 4.30
