The Other Realm Writer...

You know, I don't officially work for Sun anymore. So, I'm surprised to find my blog still active! On the flip side, I am doing contract work now, so I think it all comes full circle!

Communication is an art.  The top five things I've learned about communicating:

1. Most people don't know how to do it.
2. Most people think communication is EASY, yet refuse to acknowledge they either can't communicate, or could learn to do so better.
3. Communication is about adapting to the other person's speaking & listening style.
4. Written communication is both a Talent AND a Skill
5. Communication is about listening, reading between the lines and learning to recognize both verbal and non verbal cues.

Evil, Evil...*Shakes head* Now, I have to remember to blog here too! I keep forgetting. Anyway, thanks to Mr. Greaves, I've been tagged to write 5 things that most don't know about me...although, I'm sure some of my team mates probably know some of these things anyway...Here goes.

1. I am a nationally ranked Figure Competitor - all natural thank you - and working for my Pro card in the NPC this year.
   
2. I have a PhD in Healtheology - and yes, that is totally unrelated to my JOB and my previous degrees...education is about learning new things!
3. I am more than passable at sculpture and pastels.
4. When in training mode for #1, I have insane cravings for salt, which has been cut from my diet. Even olives at this point are appetizing....
5. I was born with jet black hair which, on it's own, went red, then blond and is now threatening to go back to being a dark as it can get. Either that, or they switched babies somewhere along the lines and all the pictures are of someone else *wink*

Shew. Ok....I don't know other bloggers other than the ones Jon already tagged...but that's what I've got...
