The Other Realm Writer...

For those on my internal team, they already know I'm competing this weekend in my last Figure Competition for the season. For the record, yes you can have a brain AND look good (in direct response to the idiots behind me at CEC fawning over the "performers" and the comment that you knew she wasn't an engineer...), but I digress.

The thing about competing, at least in the last few days before a show, is that your carb intake is rather low. This means that as the afternoon progresses, the capacity for your brain to remember things starts to deteriorate. And, you want a nap. And, french fries. Pizza wouldn't be bad either.

Thankfully, my sales teams have been busy this week and keeping me occupied and focused on work items, making the blandness (chicken, cauliflower and sweet pototoes, and yes, that's it) of my diet this week secondary. Busy sales teams are good.

When my brain is back, I'll lament on the ideals of proper proposal management.

Comments:

Amen.
My wife was in training for her first FC, that is before we got unexpectedly pregant w/ # 5 (Vas failure). She's super smart. Never equate looks with brillance, although the opposite is more apt to be true for the ugly geeky types. :)

Rock on Stacia.
