Rant 1:
When you ask me to do something and you have in mind that you want it done a specific way, then send me a sample FIRST, rather than treating me as if I'm an idiot who doesn't know better when we're going through the review process. It's rude...and it wastes everyone's time.
Rant 2:
Why does the turnaround process always have to be right now? Has the world gone all wonky with the Internet Age and decided that everything has to be "right now"? What happened to taking your time, finding out all the facts, truly crafting a unique response? I know, pipe dream. I suppose the issue is to then make it easier and smarter to respond to requests. I should really rebuild the proposal support pages since it appears the support team is gone, which in turn means that none of the information is the same when it leaves the door. *shudders*
Kudos 1:
To myself for getting to the gym and completing hard core workouts every day this week so far. The poor people in the gym aren't sure what to do with me. (The headphones are a dead giveaway, just leave me alone and ignore the weight I'm lifting. Although, last night, one of the guys uttered a damn when I picked up a 65lb barbell to use.) It's the little things that amuse me. :D
Kudos 2:
To my son for being just materialistic enough at 2.5 to understand that car stickers and a car DVD are acceptable bribery for potty training! Again, it's the little things in life that take away the stresses.
Kudos 3:
To my team for really filling in the gaps where and when we can to cover the sales engineering efforts supporting our reps. It's not always easy, but, it's never boring!
Off to fight with an SOW. Yes, I know, enthralling
