Datacentres and server rooms are normally reserved for the people who run them, and with the growing popularity of cloud-computing, it is less likely you will get behind the scenes.

To a 'geek' it's pretty exciting to see what actually runs your on-demand TV service, a new service, or even your own startup.

The picture to the right is the server space that the BBC uses for it's Redux project, a VoD multi-platform iPlayer solution.
