Hell0 MySQL
What a perfect time for this to happen. All the details can be found on Jonathan's entry, but it's definitely going to be very interesting and fun to start working directly with MySQL. As it turns out, Jan Kneschke the author of Lighttpd (Lighttpd runs on Solaris, too) also works for MySQL and is already a Solaris lover. What a deal.

I'm really looking forward to get access to some "real" hardware and try to scale lighttpd 1.5.x on it ... with its threaded disk-io it will be nice too see it fly.
A bright, interesting future.
