Free Swag for Solaris Administrators

Do you administer a group of Solaris 10 servers?  Would you like some free stuff from Sun Microsystems?  Read on...  It could be worth a free T-Shirt!

Have you seen the map that shows all of the Solaris 10 registrations?  There are currently just over 90,000 dots on that map.  I'd really like to get that over 100,000 this month, so I'm asking for some help. 

Why should you register?  Four reasons:

1. You get free access to the Sun Connection Update Manager automated patch downloading and application system built into Solaris 10 for each copy you register.
2. If you register and provide your Solaris service plan number than you also get access to a web-hosted version of the update tools where you can centrally manage updates for many registered servers from a central location.
3. Regsistering will help Sun learn more about Solaris adoption patterns (e.g. who's using it where) so we can make Solaris a better product for you and your company.
4. And, during the month of February, if you register at least 20 systems then Sun will send you a free t-shirt or coffee mug (you choose).  I promise they'll be really nice.  Full details of the program can be found here.

BTW, if you want to register systems in bulk, the easiest way may be at the command line instead of with the GUI.  Here's a description of how to register at the command line.
