Get Solaris Update Manager for S8 and S9 The Update Manager that comes bundled in Solaris 10 is a great way to manage patches for a single system. However, up until now it's only been an option on Solaris 10. I'm happy to announce that it's now available for Solaris 8 and Solaris 9. You can pick it up here. Give it a try!
