xVM at TACC
Last week we installed a preview version of xVM Ops Center at TACC. For those of you who haven't hear about TACC, they're building out Sun's first Constellation-class Super Computer there. We're going to be using Ops Center to manage various parts of the infrastructure there. We installed the software, discovered our first rack of blades, test the ILOM control functions and provisioned new firmware to them. This is a first big step for Ops Center. Congrats to the whole team for pulling it off. Here's a screen shot from the system controlling some of these new blades.
