xVM Coverage
It's been very busy since week since our Virtualization event last week where we introduced people to Sun's xVM strategy. I arrived at Sun's Customer Engineering Conference (CEC) yesterday, and people have been very interested in learning more. My team has a booth on the pavilion floor which is a great way to get more info. I've collected up just a few of the press clippings about the xVM events, and thought I'd share them here. Here's a snapshot from the Boston event. That's me over the left.

If I want to try out xVM now, what do you recommend? The July Xen drop of OpenSolaris? Or is there something newer?

Patrick, I'm personally waiting for OpenSolaris b75 to be released to general public via the download links on OpenSolaris.org. That is supposed to have all xVM capabilities integrated without having to BFU the bits and pieces. This is a couple of weeks away.

Build 75 with the Sun xVM putback should push on 10/15. PS-I'm the guy on the far right in the picture... :)
