Vitório Sassi, Campus Ambassador from UFRGS, Brazil and Ronaldo Prass from Unisinos, Brazil, inspired by some difficulties encountered during Software Freedom Day, created an application called JSaw (Java System Authentication for Wireless Network) to help improve security of WiFi networks. They used MySQL, GlassFish, NetBeans, and OpenSolaris, and have plans of expanding the application's features in the near future.
