In this topic I would like to share the reasons why I have choosen to stay with the iPhone as my preffered mobile phone.

First of all, it is necessary to know why you need a mobile phone or mobile device. There are two types of needs. Hard facts like functions and soft facts like geek factor, usability, etc.

My major needs (Hard Facts) are:

• Be able to make phone calls when necessary
• Have all contacts available at any time
• Read and write emails whereever I am
• Manage the calendar and make appointments
• Listen to my favourite music

My soft facts/needs are:

• Nice Design
• Easy to Use
• Nice and geeky Interface

I am sure that some people will probably require more features like MMS, GPS or video capture. The question here realy is, how often do you need it and if there is no other (better) way. For example: Why using MMS if you can share high quality pictures by sending a simple mail?

My standpoint in terms of video capture is also quite clear, I prefer a high quality handy cam than a poor cam in a mobile phone.

And now the Fact why I love the iPhone. There is simply no phone on the market that does all of the mentioned things with such a simple, elegant, easy, impressive, smoth and cool feeling than the iPhone. Even my grandma would be able to use a iPhone without reading a manual or spending hours for configuring the sms, mms, gprs, ip or whatever! There is simply no need for a separate iPod. You get the best phone and musicplayer in one simple piece.
