I am planning to conduct many hands on sessions,seminars and workshops exclusively to the second year students who are new to sun technologies (java and solaris).
There will be nearly 6 seminars,6 practical sessions ,workshops and many more to be covered in this semester.
There will be some tests to u...on the sessions conducted previously...everytime.
The students who score highest marks in these tests will be given prizes at the end of the semester.The prizes will be very worthy and will inform u soon in this month sessions.
This month schedule :
day 1 : introduction to sun Technologies - 20 mins
how to participate in JUGs - 20mins
how to clarify ur doubts
about SUN CLUB OF JNTU -20 mins -- by Sudhakar Reddyday 2: introduction to object oriented programming (OOPs)
java and its advantages --by Sarat Chandrajava installation and path settings -- by Anil Kumar
java and about its future, projects etc --by Ram Prasad.
finally...CDs containing complete java softwares,tutorials and some goodies
will be distributed to all the students who attended the 2 day programmes.

Hello..all
Sun Lab has been established in the CSE Department.
It has got a total of 10 systems which contain Solaris OS.
Java is installed on all the other systems also.
Netbeans has been installed in only 4 systems...as many of u don't know about its usage...i will install it in some more systems after my demo...
So..i request all of the students of JNTU to use this sun lab....

Net beans is the best IDE i used till now...
It has got very powerful features when compared to any other IDE's.
Development of projects will be very faster when we use this IDE.
Suggestion : I suggest the beginners not to go directly to Netbeans or any IDE.
First you develop using Hand coding. After u get sufficient grip in the
syntax ...then only go for the IDE.
