IBM WebSphere on Sun Solaris 10

Sun and IBM joint customers are beginning to see fruition of this announced relationship between the two companies.

The following IBM WebSphere Products are now supported on Solaris 10.

  1. Solaris 10/SPARC
  2. Solaris 10/x64/x86

We are getting increased customer demands for IBM WebSphere deployment on Solaris 10. To help you install and configure WebSphere Application Server on Solaris 10 including Zone (part of the Solaris Container technology), we have put together this document. It supplements the standard IBM WebSphere Application Server installation and configuration documents.

We are asking a large deployment of WebSphere to run on Solaris 10 can we feel comfortable that it as good as running on AIX as they run through WS versions.

Trying to find some information:
Will Live Upgrade 2.0 work for upgrading Solaris 8 to Solaris 10 which is running IBM Websphere MQ 6.0.2.1?
