Google Wifi

I live in Mountain View, California, home of Google. When I first started at Sun, I could have made a similar statement about Sun.
I dropped my car off at a local shop near downtown for minor service last night, so that they could start the work when they opened, and my husband could drop me off to pick it up on his way into work. The timing was great. I only had to wait about 20 minutes, and thanks to Google Wifi, the free wifi available throughout Mountain View, and my laptop that runs Solaris on x86, I had no down time at all.
We live on the outer boundaries of the Google wifi network where the signal is weak, so this was the first opportunity that I had to truly test it. Pretty cool stuff-- it connected easily, and it was absolutely free!
