Seeing Eye to Eye

My son will be 13 years old this summer. Right now he's in the middle of a growth spurt. Two more inches, and we'll be seeing eye to eye.
It's inevitable-- he'll be looking down on me by the end of the year. Is it a coincidence that I went out and bought myself three pairs of shoes with 2" heels? I guess I'm just trying to postpone the inevitable.
