Where have I been? It's been about 3 months since I put some serious work into this book. I haven't been slacking; I've actually been spending my free time writing in my other blog, The Secrets of Olympus. For the last three years, I've worked on the SPARC Enterprise M-class server line, a joint development project between Sun and Fujitsu. It was a lot of work, and a lot of new and interesting challenges. So I wanted to document some of the neat little things that are special about the SPARC Enterprise products. Now that SPARC Enterprise is shipping and new development is ramping down, I promise to get back to the book. I've already started the last chapter ("Know What's Going On") of the second section ("The Art of Software Project Leadership"). After that, one more section to go! Hey,
I have been looking for a way to contact you but can't find an email or anything.
I am doing a paper, which I hope to get published, for my software engineering class on applying military theory to SWE.
I was just wondering if I could get in touch with you and pick your brains on a few things.
Thanks,
Bill Wixon
