- Hearing her say "I love you." has to be the catalyst:
"I ", she grunted and lashed out with her boot.
"Crack!" replied the arch in my left foot.
" love ", she snarled and swung her left hook, the sun glistening off of the brass knuckles.
"Crack!" went at least 3 bones in my left hand.
" you!" she cried, a tear actually streaking down her right cheek. I almost missed it, I was so intent on the elbow rushing at my face.
"Crack!" went my nose. Strange, I could have sworn she broke it earlier. Oh well, it was a mushroom now.
