Ice storm and the view from my office

This is the view from my office, which since I am a telecommuter, happens to also be from my home:

That's a pretty shot, I can't say the same for my area though. My roommate's car is under a huge tree which is starting to show the effects of holding up so much ice.... she'll have to break some branches to leave this morning.

A tree in my mother-in-law's backyard came out by the roots. I think it landed on her shed in the back.

One came down in a drive-way just down the street from her.

She lost power, etc.

We are just basically 50 miles North and not as badly impacted.
